UCS Central is on its way!!

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of UCS v2.1 (Pasadena). It has been hard to track down details of this multi-site manager for UCS but I have seen data sheets trickling into the Cisco site. We have had many customers setup multiple sites and UCS domains with no single point of management. This was a challenge as we tried to architect UCS around the possibility of one management interface in the future. UCS Central is slated to be released in 2 phases beginning with the release of v2.1 in December. Phase 2 will follow in 2013. This new management VM allow UCS to expand its oversight from 160 servers to 10,000!
